Songs Featuring Boys Names

Man
Had reason to spend time in the car over the weekend - only to be inundated with songs coming through my radio featuring just about every girls name imaginable.

From classics such as Runaround Sue and The Beatles Julia to Elvis Costello's Alison even the much maligned - 'Gloria'.

It got me thinking about whether there were just as many ditty's featuring boys names.


Off the top of my head I quickly cited Elton's - Daniel, followed by of course Song for Guy, Arthur's Theme, Johnny Be Good and Ben.

Satisfied that I could at least peel of the mandatory 5, I went about my business - but however many songs are there that you know of that feature boys names?

Ah, if only I could name more than one, that haven't been named by others. But there is one missing:

A Boy Named Sue - country western, you guess the singer.
