Have you started a blog recently?
Or have you been blogging for a while, but want to get more readers and traffic to your blog?
Blogging should be fun but there are a few essential things you should know to increase traffic to your blog.
Afterall - why put so much effort into your blog, and then be content with just a few readers success beckons - it all depends on getting more TRAFFIC to your blog.
Do you know how many readers you have or how much traffic your blog is getting on any given day?
While you can't exactly add a stat counter to your Orble blog you can to one through sites such as WordPress.
I'd suggest going to StatCounter.com and get a FREE one for your blog.
Here's another couple of quick suggestions to boost traffic.
* Provide a list that's related to your topic which would be useful to others.
* Publish as frequently as possible.Pehaps not every day at least every few days and commite to publishing original content.
* Link to other blogs and websites.
* Lists are a wonderful addition to your blog.
* Don't whinge and whine: Don't get into the habit of creating a blog a site for complaining about your world. Who wants to hear about all your problems when we've got our own?
* Don't give up: OK it takes time - but if you build it (generally) they will come - traffic that is.
And finally - think of your blog as a way to flex your creative muscle. It really does take a good measure of creativity and original thinking to come up with interesting posts on a regular basis - so go hard people.

So much of this is common sense... it's great advice, it's just sad that some people *need* to be told. I mean, a reminder, a friendly pat on the back, some encouragement, are all nice... but a lot of people don't think about these things at all.
