Do You Have A Name for Your Car?
June 3rd 2009 23:23
Think about celebs with cool names, names completely in sync their personalities: Jay-Z, Kat Von D, Slash; they’re much more fitting than Jane Smith, Bob Jones or Sue Brown.
For many of us choosing a name for our car is akin to choosing a name for a baby or our pet.
Afterall - it's your automotive signature and you can’t stick a lame name on a cool car and you can't stick a cool name on a lame car or can you?

Gertie's cute - but Rex The Commodore?
I shudder to think.
Perhaps they actually meant 'wrecks'

Other than 'Mildred' I've never named a car - but know lots of people that do - must be something in the gene's.
A mate of mine calls his People Mover the Gallatica.
Stay well

Rex the Commodore - I like it. Commodores are very Rex-like. We used to call the Commodore of a friend's brother 'The Commode'.

I have become odd with cars. I buy a new one every 5yrs and it is black and it's a Holden. This is my third one but first one was a Ford (ssshhhhh)

Easy to remember, not difficult to spell and being uniform is a quality - I guess
Cheers
