Icecreams . . . do you have a favourite?
August 25th 2010 20:56
Remember Bubble-o-Bills and Lickety-Splits? Were Gaytime's or Lime Splice's your idea of bliss? Or were you content with simply a chocolate Paddlepop?
From the humble Icy Pole and Sunnyboy (or Raz) through to the indulgence of a Street's Chocolate Heart (or these days Magnum) we never really grow out of a love of icecreamery do we?
Be it on a stick, in a cup, wrapped in foil or placed in a cone - it remains the standard bribe of children everywhere.
But did you have a favourite?

Was always a sucker for a Splice.
What I want to know is why Steet's discontinued the vanilla paddlepop about 10 years ago. I heard it was something to do with less shelf life than the others . . . damn, they did themselves a disservice there!
