Pick a Car . . . Any Car . . .
November 24th 2009 01:20
Do you have a favourite car?
You needn't have owned it - or for that matter be able to afford it - but a favourite - one you could see yourself driving around in on a glorious spring afternoon along a coast road somewhere or perhaps with the top down (the car's not yours) driving through the desert - tumbleweeds, cactus, the horizon and an Eagles CD to keep you company.
Perhaps your's is a movie car - such as Herbie or Christine?
Perhaps even a small screen mobile aka - Dukes of Hazard, Munsters or KIT from Knight Rider.
Perhaps a concept car or in my case a 1954 Corvette - 53 at a pinch . . .
So folks - pick a car . . . any car . . .

I also wouldn't mind a BLACK version of Miss Moneypenny's car from the Thunderbirds

Jaguar certainly has street cred on its side. Though it stumbled when it released the XJ6 in my opinion. The E-type had a certain styling - which captured the hearts of many enthusiasts too.
Cheers

Knew someone who - like you had a penchant for the red 'Magnum PI' Ferrari thing. Then went into hoc and bought himself one.
Had the car - a tennis racquet and that's about it.
Thought it would pull the girls - all it did was attract attention - for the wrong reasons.
Think that's how the term Porcupine Car started
Cheers
