Who Would You Pay $200 to See?
March 1st 2011 00:13
A mate of mine recently paid $275 for a pretty ordinary seat (by his own admission) to a U2 concert here in Sydney.
The word nose bleed was used on more than one occcasion in the conversation - yet he felt somewhat satisfied that he at least made it to the concert in spite of watching it almost entirely on the big screen.
Ticket prices for most concerts though are quite as extraordinary I admit - though front and centre do command big bucks, which the likes of most of us can only drool.
But if you were handed a lazy $200 to spend on seats at one performance - who would you choose to spend it on?
