Dancing Naked: Have You Ever Lost A Bet?

You know - the kind which you can look back on later and laugh - but at the time . . . well, meant either mounting a fair bit of dutch courage, swallowing a reasonable amount of personal pride - or both!
Whilst regailing in the companionship of some life-long friends last weekend - we were collectively reminded of the dares, bets - whatever you'd like to call them - of our 'not so distant' past.
From the obigatory 'dogfood eating ritual' to singing in public in the centre of Sydney and running naked the entire length of the street on New Years.
In fact some bets - like masquerading as a strippergram for one of your mates new girlfriends (now his wife) - all came out of vault - all worthy of mirth (and while still a little embarrassment) hearty laughter all round.
So - ever lost an embarrassing, funny or unusal bet?

Yes... there has been nakedness, and busking on a street corner, and eating Caramello Koalas Cool Hand Luke Style (I thought it would be a breeze but I think I ended up sicker than him!) There have been many such experiences!

many, many years ago, when the streets were lit by gas lanterns and cabbies drove horses, I had a card game bet, it was a game of 500, which my partner and I lost, the price...to select a driver golf club, strip naked, and go forth into the street, and stand on the traffic island, then while taking imaginary swipes at the golf ball, we had to sing a verse of Blue Moon.
Amazingly no one else was around at the time!
