MNG, it's not light-hearted fun and you know it. It's the objectification of women, done purely for the purposes of gaining more traffic - because as the recent slew of arse pictures has shown, butt-posts do get more traffic.

But only for a few days. After that, you realize that you've just alienated around half of your readership. Think about that.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here and suggest that the only thing this does is expose the ludicrous nature of tabloid journalism. Just think of the hours all these photographers put in for that split-second shot of someone's backside. That's the 'butt' of the joke, as far as I'm concerned.

No, it's okay Spring Heeled Jack. I can take it. Especially when it's people who aren't bright enough to click on my profile page and see what I look like!

The "you must be ugly" line is one that has been thrown at feminists for decades - the *cough* "men" involved simply don't want to face the fact that their behaviour is the issue, and would rather assume it's petty jealousy on the part of the woman.

Actually it shows exactly the kind of "men" who are attracted to this kind of post, so I welcome it! Let's see how many more we can get.
