What's Your Favourite Web Site?
October 18th 2007 21:55
OK - so perhaps I shouldn't say it - but given the inordinate amount of time we probably all spend on the net these days - it's always great to find out about new sites - whether their informative, fun or just plain bizarre!
When you sit back and start a little 'housekeeping' it's amazing just how many bookmarks you manage collect - most sitting around in your favourites box collecting e-dust, some occassionally functional and a few which you probably visit more often than the fridge.
ebay is always going to win votes of course - but with a little down-time on my hands this weekend - would love to find out your 'favs' - and check them out.

The blog host takes great stylish pictures of what people are wearing on the streets in NY, Paris, Milan and other fab cities...
He has made himself famous just by posting photos and very little text!

That is sooooo suckie
But you do meet some lovely people that otherwise you'd simply pass in the street.
Thanks for asking - a smile and cheery disposition always helps things I say.

...unfortunately I wasn't referring to the people...that is a bonuside effect...but I do seem to spend a majority of my online time here...
It's a one stop, everything for everyone place. What can't one find here to read about?
...and I don't subscribe to any other blogging communities so I don't know what's out there.
I do tend to spend a lot of online time on news sites, science sites and of course Rugby sites...fashion sites...my sites (but that's work reasons!)...eBay (but that's because I sell my no longer wanted vintage pieces there)...there is one site I will go to, when I remember, to read episode recaps...or cheat!
Television Without Pity - absolutely hilarious.
And I love this one for tests and quizzes.
Tickle - very adictive!
..and Trend Hunter.

Gosh - some of those shots remind me of my own MoJo styling.
Which ones - I'll leave for you to decide.
Call in again soon.

Well, I now spend most of my net time on Orble. Was a babe in the blogging woods a couple of months ago - didn't even know what a blogging community was - but I really like the people and Dusk is right, there is always something to read!
Outside of that I am always on abebooks.com getting book bargains, various fashion sites, and of course, eBay.

Turn your inbox into a chicken coop?
Can always rely on you for something a little left of centre.
Can't wait to explore all four sites.
Thanks for the tips.

Well, not even I can be bothered searching for free porn anymore, too tiring...too disinterested...too physically incapable!!!
Faves at the moment;
Orble is first,
then MySpace, where I have another alter-ego, in the form of a very obstreperous (well, the written form of a noisy and turbulent persona) and very testy pug dog.
My niece insisted I create a blog there, as she had joined, so I created it in the form of a angry pug protesting about the injustices in the world. But, I can't be bothered visiting much anymore, and sadly, that's about it for now!
Oh...there is always the Latin English dictionary and quotes, sooo full of fun that is!
A recipe site and a crop circle site...I visited twice...basically I have no favourites...
So, mainly Orble...how sad is that!
WHAT an indictment of my social life!
And what little interaction I get out of Orble anyway...all too pathetic really...I think...it must be me...
(SFX: cue slow mournful strings and harp)
XFADE: BCU zoom slowly out to REAR LONG SHOT: see Fog slowly walking off towards a darkening blood full moon, setting upon a deserted flat horizon, enveloping his crushed and dejected carriage...
ROLL CREDITS
cheers

Despite my earlier proclamation - there's nothing wrong with being Orbllinean my friend.
Sounds like you've made a few new 'acquaintances' over at the More Muslim Demands post.
Stay well.

my dear MNG,
I have certainly endeared myself to all those in the world; whose necks glow at sunset, those whose brains sag at sunrise, and those whose souls are but fossilised moon dust...
AHEM! I'm more composed now, and less composted!
Adieu monsieur!
