A Dummies Guide to becoming a Super Hero!
May 24th 2010 20:17
Ever wanted to be a superhero?
Of course you have - afterall every kid dreams of being a super hero.
Capes and the ability to fly are great - but also highly over-rated so if you've ever had the yearning to crack the big time - here's the dummies guide to becoming a superhero.
Level of Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions.
Step 1
Know a friend who can draw? Hell, get em to start doing a few cartoon strips of you - decked out in an appropriate super hero outfit of course. Let's face it, even super heroes need good press.
Step 2
Find a gym. Guys (and girls) you've got to look the part particularly if you're going to make personal appearances in front of adoring crowds. To be frank - the thought of Butt Woman and Belly Boy isn't exactly going to set the key to your success.
Step 3
Start building a fan base. You could try Facebook or your own website - you'd be suprised the number of nutters out there who will start to spread the word. Interest should build quickly from there.
Step 4
Create a super hero name. It's not as easy as it sounds - but if The Green Lantern can make a name for himself - just about anything else is in the ballpark.
Step 5
Look for ways get involved with the community and make sure there's a crowd (or a good PR person) around to document it. Fighting crime is one avenue - but best to work up to it. Start out small and build some street cred first.
