Tomorrow Has Been Cancelled!

In the space of three hours the following quips have found their way to my lobes - all detailing good reason for the necessity for a 'leap day'.
"Today has been a bitch of a day - and I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow."
"Did you hear that tomorrow's meeting's been put off til Friday? I'm not sure why but that free's up the day . . ."
"I can't see you tomorrow - can we do this Friday?
I'm sorry (insert name here) is currently unavailable - but will be returning to the office July 17 . . . beeeeeeep
Well in my world at least the thought of a better tomorrow always looms large on the horizon - but it appears that due to weight of numbers that tomorrow's future is in a state of peril.
Then again - what do they say about tomorrow never comes?
