Who's your favourite cartoon hero?
November 25th 2008 00:55
On the back of a post on the Cult Fiction site Click Here and the release of the new Astro Boy movie – thought it timely to gauge just who are our favourite cartoon heroes of all time.
As a kid – I thought Prince Planet was ‘the ants pants’, followed closely by Gigantor and Astro Boy, Marine Boy and Superman and Captain America.
But who were yours?
Bat Fink?
Cool McCool?
TMNT?
Fearless Fly?
Underdog?
Dudley Do-Right?
Power Rangers or even the Powder Puff Girls.
Scores of animated heroes out there . . . and so many battles that have been fought and won.

Princess was a real cutie too!
The question, which is better? The original Japanese show (not sure of its title), or the dubbed American known as the above Battle of the Planets ...?

Under-rated - that's for sure. Mr Peabody from the Fractured Fairtales sub-genre was also destined to always be the bridesmaid and never a bride.
Hmmm - need I even mention The Green Lantern - what kinda name was that for a super-hero anyway?
Onya . . .
