Who Would Play 'You' in a Hollywood Blockbuster?
March 26th 2008 03:36
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?
Would is be one of the pretty boys like Pitt or a glamour like Lauren Bacall?
Would Humphrey Bogart get your nod of approval or would Drew Barrymore be your first choice?
Perhaps you're more the Charles Bronson type - or maybe Ingrid Bergman?
From where I sit - the jury is still out - though Harrison Ford does have a huge amount of appeal.
Would love to hear who you'd have in mind.

With my luck they'd cast Tori Spelling
Na, if they made a movie about me, I think I'd like to see someone like Drew Barrymore play me. She's got that laid back fun vibe about her. Or if I was going to be a brunette, I think I'd like Janeane Garofolo (I love her). Though she'd be able to spit out those bitchy one-liners and smart ass comebacks better than I do.

Because of your tag I just can't get past you being Don Adams, MNG!! But let's go with Harrison. Lol.
Trace - you have to be Catherine Zeta, Welsh beauty.
Kylie - yeah you need someone with a bit of edge and sass!

Don't you just love Barrymore (Drew that is) - soooo laid back - she rates right up there in our family alongside Sandra Bullock in the fun stakes.
Cheers

After all, I'm a brunette, I have curves and I'm Welsh...but I'm not rich, tall, nor can I act.
Ah well

Angelina Jolie. But only as Lara Croft.
Oh hang on. Who would play me fullstop? Not who would play me as I would like to be?
Hmm...Geena Davis maybe?
...she's quirky and goofy! Plus we're both Aquarians, play the drums and do archery (albeit she's almost Olympic level and I'm...not).
Oh...and she and I are the same height. Give or take 3.5 inches...
I just love love love her in 'Long Kiss Goodnight'.
...Hope you're well MNG...cool post but quite an embarrassing question really! Indicative of self-esteem maybe? Or self inflation??
(I say this because Geena Davis is a Mensa member. Yes she has a genius IQ...oh we're just so alike... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahahahaha!!!)

Who would play me? The reality check says Parker Posie. She's a hoot and a holler, insanely crazy and a bit bitchy at times. That's me in a nutshell.

My only other suggestion would be that the Welsh need a new fly-half for the 5-nations.
I'd stick with Catherine

I actually got to meet Geena about 10 years ago - Mensa you say - she must've dumbed down for my benefit.
I'm sure you'd still outgun Geena when it came to the audition for the role of Wonder Woman though
Stay well.

My ego would love to say Sean Penn, Steve McQueen or Lee Marvin, sadly the truth is probably closer too Mel Gibson.

they get harder you know...your questions I mean.
I am many people and don't think anyone could play me, butwhen I was younger (around the Karen Silkwood days) someone said Meryl Streep, could do a great job ... I am not sure about the Devil Wears Prada... perhaps Meryl and I would have had to split ways about half way through 'my career...'
Perhaps nowadays more like Penelope Cruise for her spirit and temper, although my hair is a fiery redder brunette and not so long... but the fiesty gypsy flame burns there too I think.
Sandra Bullock could probably also do the 'best me' these days especially after taking 28 days and copying my 'snort-laugh' ... *chuckle* ... and particularly when driving buses... now all I need is a Keanu to come along ... who's playing you, maybe I'll bet lucky?
*winks and hugs*

Now that would be one excellent adventure dude - particularly if he happened to to park the bus at the Lake House.
