The reason I don't think Cheryl is dorky is that I have a mental image of Millhouse from the Simpsons - to me, he is the personification of dorky - lame, clueless, needing.

That is not Cheryl, to me anyway. I hope you don't mind me talking about you like this, but Cheryl, but lame and clueless are certainly not how you seem to me, not at all!
