Mad men of the movies
May 12th 2009 23:21
We all love a villian - don't we?
Be it Hannible Lecter or Norman Bates, Freddy Kruger or Lex Luthor - celluloid is littered with mad men - all vying for your attention.
From Dr Frankenstein to Darth Vader, a good old-fashioned baddie can transform even the most average movie into something quite special.
But which have been the best?

I also liked the Robert de Niro character in Heat.
And of course, the villain played out by Michael Douglas in Wall Street - aka Gordon Gekko.
Yes, we always like the villain.
