First The Good News . . .
April 21st 2009 00:18
It's been quite a tryiing time to say the least over the past month in the Nice Guy household - so it was with a sense of 'perhaps our luck has changed' karma that this morning I heard that my little community radio program on 89.9FM has been 'snapped up' by TyneFM in the Northeast of England which will broadcast it live each week.
Apparently the 70's and 80's format fits nicely into their schedule and is something they have been considering for a while.
The station itself carries a couple international programs - predominantly from the US - so it's a bit of a coup for a little Aussie presenter to be given the chance to ply his wares to a English audience.
What's more - the station also broadcasts via the web - so pity those in Europe as well as those who tune in via www.hawkesburyradio.com.au
So what chance?
Everyday brings something new - some good, some not so good - we do our best and if you hang in there long enough - sometimes - just sometimes the karma gods give you a sniff.
Of course everyone can send me selections via the musicguy site Click Here or check out the on-line streaming webcam and live music stream tonight (before the show is let loose on the world) by visiting 89.9 Webcam and Audio Click Here
Tuesday nights - 7-10 in Sydney - which translates to around 9am - noon in Tyne on Newcastle gosh I hope they know what they're in for.
Wish me luck - pray for the British populus . . .

Or more like Global warming - where everyone's looking for a solution to the problem.
Thanks

Nice Guys might not always win the race, but they always take home the trophy.

Cruisey?
Hoepfully cruisey like an old Corvette - not quite so old that it's decrepit - yet enough class to be almost cool.

nah, i meant more the opposite of Tom Cruise, more like relaxed and mellow, like sipping cocktails in a hammock, or sitting in a rocking chair with only underwear and a sombrero on . . . doo doo da doo cocaine
