What song best describes your life?
January 9th 2008 21:00
We can all (from time to time) relate to a signature tune on the airwaves.
It may denote an emotional phase you're going through, encapsulate your feelings at that present moment or sum up your life.
Whether it's the Boomtown Rats (I Don't Like Mondays), The Monkees (I'm A Believer) or even The Troggs (Wild Thing) - there's at least one song out there that either describes you (or you life - right now!).
Would love to hear what yours is?

It literally rips my guts out when I hear it.
It's the gypsy blood in me, I guess.
What a great blog question,
Jo

Put em all together and you have something almost but not quite like me.
Good question

I guess none of us "can be chained to a life where nothings gained . . . "
What a great tune.
Have a copy of it on vinyl myself - a real classic.
Thanks for dropping by and sharing.
Goodbye Ruby Tues . . . err Jo.

Great music, nice senitment - just not sure if you mean Fall Out Boy's version, Frank Sinatra's version or Bob Hope's rendition.
Always a pleasure.

Can relate to Supertramps - Take the Long Way Home - means a whole lot more to me now than when it was released around 1978/9 - thanks to the additional life miles I've clocked up.
You're right though - no one song can adequately sum up an individual.
Great to have made your acquaintence - hope you can find the time to drop in again some time real soon.
Cheers

So all you really want is a room somewhere
far away from the cold night air . . . ?
- oh and I think there's a reference about lots of chocolate to eat - which isn't a bad idea either.
Your needs are indeed modest.
Stay well

I don't even want to go there - though a couple do immediately spring to mind.

Didn't Prince have a song "Still Waiting"?
Look forward to your response.

Sounds like you need ACDC's Jailbreak just in order to escape the mayhem.
Keep sane!
