Sport, Food and Sex

October 14th 2010 02:21
Sex, Men, Women, Questions, Survey, Report, Relationships, HSC, Study, University
A report released today which surveyed over 5000 Australian men has either crystalised in our own minds what we already knew or perhaps merely juggled the status quo when it comes to the most important things in life.

According to the study which was done in conjunction with one of this country's key learning institutes, the three most important things in the lives of men aged 18-45 were, in order Sport, Food and Sex.

Gobsmacked?

I say probably not.

What was interesting (and given only one word answers were permitted in the survey) were the next three on the list, which included health, happiness and family.

For those interested in what rounded out the top 10, they were; wealth, career, marriage and success.

Hmmmm . . .

Sport??? Just never got the fascination.

Films, Music, Reading and artistic expression in general are far more pivotal to the human experience for me.

Sex and Food are just essential bodily functions so going to the toilet or sleep could probably have been included too. (Not that the horizontal mambo doesn't come with window dressing that has me obsessed

May I suggest a book here: 'The Xenophobe's Guide to the Australians' - pretty much says exactly what the survey said and it's a hilarious read. Of course, there are Xenophobe's guides to other folk, too. Enjoy! x

I'd take your advice however I'm too preoccupied apparently with the first ten priorities to be whisked away by something as mundane as reading . . .

Thanks for stopping by!
