50 texts a day?

Now occassionally I might put thumb to phone for perhaps a half dozen - but 50-plus!
Perhaps I'm out of touch - but wouldn't a simple phone call quite possibly do the same job?
Or perhaps I'm just not atuned to the way we communicate these days.

I hate to break it to you Mr. Nice Dude, but a little 12 year old sending over 4000 texts a month is chump change!
Sometimes they text each other while sitting on the same couch. You see, youngsters think everything is FREE!

now i mostly only text if my battery is low, or im somewhere i cant speak or hear, or as a courtesy if i phone someone and they dont answer, i like to text the reason i was calling because i know some people dont like to pay to retrieve voicemails
i probably only send 20-50 per week, id usually rather speak to people
