Your Most Unforgettable Songs from the Movies
March 9th 2010 21:19
Remember the movie Top Gun and the songs which helped fuel its success at the box office - Highway to the Danger Zone and Take My Breath Away?
Or how about The Righteous Brothers, 'Unchained Melody' from 'Ghost'?
Or perhaps The Bee Gees, 'You Should Be Dancin'' from 'Saturday Night Fever' 1977.
Or even Survivor, 'Eye of the Tiger' from 'Rocky III'.
Throw in Simon & Garfunkel, 'Mrs. Robinson' from 'The Graduate', Queen's, 'Bohemian Rhapsody' from 'Wayne's World' and Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band's 'Old Time Rock and Roll' from 'Risky Business' and you have a pot pourie of great titles from some of the most memorable movies of all time.
But what are your favourites?
Would it include some of the oldies such as Somewhere over the Rainbow or more contemporary classics such as Bette Midler's, 'Wind Beneath My Wings' or Huey Lewis' Power of Love from Back to the Future?
You don't have to have loved the film - just the music folks . . .
So which tunes rate in your books?

Blaze of Glory from Young Guns
The theme song from Austin Powers is incredibly recognizable.
