Songs Featuring Days of The Week
September 17th 2007 23:25
It doesn’t take much to get the juices of conversation flowing sometimes – and thanks to a great little post on Color-Me-Bands by Miswanderlust via the Ramble On site – conversation at Mr Nice Guy’s palatial residence – last night turned to Songs featuring ‘Days of the Week’.
From Monday, Monday by the Mama’s and the Papa’s to Ruby Tuesday, Wednesday’s Child right through to Jersey Thursday by Donovan and Friday on My Mind Saturday Night Fever and Sunday Bloody Sunday.
The initial foray was both fast and furious – before the inevitable slow down – and the occasional blitzkrieg of songs and artists.
A whole lotta fun though.

If only I can reconcile the Beatles and their hit 8 days a week - I'm sure you would've come up with a song title to fit the expanded calendar.
Cheers to you

Never quite forgiven the Bangles for that ditty.

How could I forget that one. Remember sitting in the "crew room" at McDonalds back in 1979 - when I first heard that song.
Gee that takes me back.
Thanks
