My Favourite Oxymorons . . .
November 6th 2009 04:31
Oxymorons.
For those unfamiliar with the term - basically it's a figure of speech which combines two normally contradictory terms.
OK - so Government Worker probably doesn't count - nor does Airline Food but I do have a few favourites which continue to tickle my fancy - if you'd care to add.
1) Found Missing
2) Good Grief
3) Small Crowd
4) Butt Head
5) Clear Misunderstanding
And my favourite (tongue in cheek) Microsoft Works - yes I've love my Mac . . .
