Orble Poll: Who's Your Favourite 'Original' Star Wars Character?

With Federal election night television all about political commentary and a multitude of 'heads on a stick' - it was interesting to see (in Sydney at least) that Channel 10 was either too cheap or just plain clever with its decision to screen Star Wars this evening.

So, in the interests of those who have better things to do tonight than wonder if the swinging seat of Eden Monaro goes the way of the ALP or Coalition - thought this little poll would be fun.

Tough...was tossing between CP30, R2D2...and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Voted R2D2 in the end...who had a paltry 2 votes! Was shocked to see who was top!

I voted Han Solo, since my girlfriend believes i remind her of him ... can't see it myself, but hey, who am I to argue.

R2, however, comes a very close second.

I voted with the young 9 year old inside of me (the age I first saw Star Wars), so that was Han Solo, but later on I came to love the silent, but very cool Boba Fett. I loved the Millennium Falcon, but I also loved Slave 1.

I always had a soft spot for Chewy myself - though I think most fella's like to picture themselves as my more of a Han Solo than a Luke Skywalker.

Perhaps your girlfriend is simply impressed with your smooth nature, your dry humour or is it simply time to change your wardrobe.

Whatever it is - go with it. Better than have you remind her of Chewy - that whole back shaving thing isn't exactly a turnon for most women.
