Help Wanted: Name Your Caped Crusaders

No.1 daughter's English class (for reasons best known to her teacher) was asked to come up with 50 examples of 'Cape Wearers' over the weekend.

(A spurious task - given the book their currently studying is John Boyne's "The Boy in Striped Pyjamas" - which is essentially a story about a nine year old boy trying to understand what is happening around him Auschwitz during World War II.)


So there we were last night trying to come up with as many cape wearers as possible - however the going is starting to get a little tough.

To date we have a couple of superheroes - (ie: Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman) then there's Zorro, Van Helsing, Vampires, Witches, Sherlock Holmes, Jack The Ripperm Wizards, Little Red Riding Hood, The Grim Reaper, Snow White The Ninja Turtles and a few casual wearers such as Captain Hook, Aladin, Nancy Drew and Harry Potter.

But being the oracles of wisdom you all are - we need a little help from Orblers.

Any suggestions?

All I can think of is The Count on Sesame Street. But he probably comes under vampire does he?

And Prince Charming wears one I think? You've covered the others I know. What a strange homework assignment!

Thanks for dropping by.

We'd just got to 42 when we spied your additions. We'd included your first 2 but didn't even think of Ozzy let alone George's father's lawyer - nice pick up.

Led us to Elton John and Red Symonds as well as a few other performers who have also donned capes.

So we're almost there - cheers.
