From the dawn of TV when quiz shows were brought to you by such and such or sitcoms were a presentation of - insert name here - television ads have brought us almost as much entermainet as the TV shows themselves.
OK - so maybe that might be a bit of stretch - but there's no doubt that while truncated - there's art in the art of TV advertising.
From lemons popping out of laundry detergent boxes to Louie the Fly, the unlikely spokesinsect of Australian household insecticide brand Mortein and a burly Scotsman trying to find someone to fix his G-O-G-G-O mobile - there's little doubt the humble TV ad has left at least one enduring memory in your life - but which ones?
