Television Theme Songs
March 25th 2010 05:53
Remember growing up to your favourite television theme song?
Fashions, values and hairstyles may come and go - but the television theme song is the staple diet which binds small screen viewers whether you're 10 or 100.
They make for nostalgia . . . for instance
(Ten years ago / In 1972), a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team.
So whether yours was the Brady Bunch, Dragnet, Hogan's Heroes, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Addams Family, Chips, M.A.S.H, Scrubs, in fact just about any program worth its salt - I'd love to hear about it.
