Sexual Chemistry - TV's Best Couples
February 11th 2013 05:09
Throughout the 60 or so years television has graced our living rooms, there's been a plethora of shows and actors that made great sexual chemistry.
From 'cute' chemistry like David and Maddie in Moonlighting through to good girl/bad boy relationships like Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder in Vampire Diaries - we love a good sordid (if not sometimes obtuse or subdued) slice of romance and innuendo.
What is it about a simmering chemistry that you want the characters to jump into bed together at the first possible opportunity - yet we long for the tease let alone the chase?
Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz as Booth and Brennan from Bones - or even Sarah Michelle Gellar and Boreanaz from their days in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Jimmy Smits & Kim Delaney from NYPD Blue - both actors played characters that truly cared for each other as friends and errr - love interests.
The completely mismatched Sam (Ted Danson) and Diane (Shelley Long) from Cheers.
And how about Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) from Friends? He’s loved her since they were in high school, and she finally realizes (eventually) that he is her soul mate.
Lorelai and Luke, Lois and Clark, Jack and Joey - the list goes on and on and well . . . on.
Whether they’re dancing half-naked, or playing undercover cops it matters not.
It's all about the chemistry.
Science was never so much fun . . .
