What's the best movie NEVER made?
July 19th 2007 23:47
If, like me you think Hollywood is devoid of fresh, marketable and conceptual celluloid – jump on board.
If however you earnestly believe that the best we can do is Star Wars XXXVIII then alight now!
In their never ending quest – I’m summising that tinseltown moguls scour the recesses light transcends for their next blockbuster – or do they?
I’m sorry – but in the real world another Police Academy, Revenge of the Nerds, American Pie or Friday the 13th just ain’t going to cut it with me for my $20 of escapism.
So what are the best movies never made?
What are the films that never actually made it to the big screen.
Would Alfred Hitchcock's Kaleidoscope do it for patrons or perhaps a Hitchhikers Guide To the Galaxy?
Dramas, sci-fi flicks, comedies, sequels, animated films – there’s a certain speculative joy about what might have (or could still be) possible – just lying dorment in the creative minds of Orblers.
Shatner! The Musical: A musical exploration of the genius that is Shatner. Written, directed and starring William Shatner.
Or perhaps the short (very very short) cinemagraphic tale - David Hasselhoff – the untold story.
Comedic, serious or just plain flippant – dust off the ideas. Cutting edge or cutting room floor – remember silver screen – golden dreams.
Roll’em!
