What World Record Would You Hold?

November 20th 2008 04:31
World Record
If you could choose a world record to be the proud shiny new owner of, what would it be?

Having watched somebody break the old record for most number of live snails on their face at one time - surely there's a world record to suit everyone taste and lifestyle.

Perhaps you text in the blink of an eye or can leap tall buildings in a single bound?

Can you recite the alphabet backwards quicker than anyone else on the face of the planet or have always astounded friends and colleagues by your ability to out stare even the dead?

To help you out - thought it may be prudent for you to check out a few ideas.

With thanks to Diablo for the YouTube vision.

A world record for being second - what a novel concept - though I guess once you have than crown - you immediately reliquish the quest to better it huh?

most amount of consecutive hours spent on the internet? haha

i used to have a housemate who was really inconsiderate and would arrange to meet me places and then show up really really late . . . im not just talking 30 minutes or an hour, i mean 3 or 4 hours . . . i once waited over 5 hours (obviously i was waiting at a pub so i could occupy myself) and i thought that must have been some sort of a world record!

Once upon a time my mother and I held the world record for the having the most amount of corks. We made corkboards and anything you could think of with corks and barrels and baskets galore filled with them. Mum met the Guiness Book people and went through the whole saga of getting accepted and then counting the corks - I have no idea what the total was. We used to live in a pub restaurant so it was pretty easy collecting them.

Judging by your success on the Orble network at least - I guess your record could well be validated by most of us.

Mind you - a five hour pub wait - my gosh . . . were you lucid when your friend finally arrived?

I'm guessing you'd probably made quite a few new ones in that time.

I'll mention your achievements to the folks at Guinness.

- the record people NOT the brewers

For real?

You (and your mum) are legends . . .

When was it - I'm bound to have a copy of the book here somewhere.

Noice . . .
